Rosemary Gougères

Here is a simple and traditional French appetizer.  
The gougères are basically "pâte à choux" and cheese. So delicious, and quick to make.
In our recipe, we decided to add some rosemary for more flavors. Some, like to stuff the choux with mushrooms, or pretty much anything that complements the cheesy choux!

 

Step 1: Melt your butter in water in a medium saucepan. Add salt. Then remove from heat, and add flour. Mix with a spatula, or wooden spoon, until well blended. It will look like a thick paste/dough.
